Genera Data Protection Regulations

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) came into force across the European Union on 25th May 2018 and brings with it the most significant changes to data protection law in two decades. This regulation provides a much stronger regulatory environment over the the protection of Personal Data held by businesses.

Stanzy and Ivy Fabrics will only collect this personal identification if it is voluntarily submitted to us. A customer can always refuse to supply personal identification information, but it may prevent them from receiving an order. Stanzy and Ivy fabrics will only hold details to maintain our business relationship and believe that it constitutes a legitimate, genuine business interest.

The information/details that Stanzy and Ivy Fabrics hold will only be retained for the particular order, placed at the time. We will not store credit or debit card details, contact information like your name, address and telephone on any computer system or third party servers. All information will be destroyed 7 days after item(s) have been dispatched. Should any queries manifest themselves, or in the unlikely event that you feel your personal details are being used incorrectly, or suspect a data breach may have occurred, please contact Stanzy and Ivy fabrics directly. Non –Personal identification information

Stanzy and Ivy Fabrics will not collect non-personal identification information about our customers.

Third Party activity or websites

If a customer was to find advertising or other content on Stanzy and Ivy Fabrics, website , Facebook or Instagram sites that link to the sites /products/services of third parties, this might not be with our agreement. Stanzy and Ivy fabrics would be grateful for information if this occurs. We do not control the content or links that may appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by third parties appearing on Facebook, Instagram or website. Interaction with any third party website etc will be subject to their third party’s own terms and policies.

Your Rights

Under data protection laws, our customers have the right to:-
Request access to their personal information held
Require us to correct any mistakes in any information held
Require the erasure of personal information concerning them
Receive the personal information concerning them which has been provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format.
Object in certain other circumstances to our continued processing of their personal information
Object at any time to processing of personal information concerning them for direct marketing.
Otherwise restrict our processing of their personal information in certain circumstances.

Any of the above can be requested at any time via email, phone or post. Should we receive such request we will take action accordingly.

How we use collected information

Stanzy and Ivy fabrics will only use collected personal information for the following purposes:
To ensure you receive the products you have ordered
To send information and updates pertaining to an order
To respond to other enquires, questions, and/other requests
To process payments
To manage the delivery of your products, to the correct address.
Stanzy and Ivy Fabrics will not share any information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service you require, such as information to couriers for delivery.

How Stanzy and Ivy Fabrics protect your information

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost or used in an unauthorised way.

We will not store personal information on any computer system or on any other data lists including invoices, and order forms. Once an order has been dispatched, after 7 days all information will be destroyed/erased.

We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

Sharing your Personal information

Stanzy and Ivy fabrics do not sell, trade or rent our customers personal identification information to others.

Stanzy and Ivy Fabrics have the discretion to update this policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page.
